As you walk up the dirt track separating the gate from the house, you leave the city and its noise behind. 2km from the centre of Vila Real and a stone’s throw from all amenities this farm, entirely walled in and overlooking the River Corgo, offers the ideal peace and tranquillity for a few days of rest. The farmhouse was built in 1922, to a design by Master Raul Lino, and it combines an elegant, decorative architecture with sober regional materials. Inside the house, the rustic, welcoming decoration, an array of magazines and books, central heating for winter days, a fireplace in the new apartments, all contribute to making your stay as pleasant as possible at any time of the year. The Rose Garden and the Camellia Garden are conducive to reading. The Swimming Pool and the Lawns offer other playing and entertainment possibilities. On warm sunny days, breakfast and dinner may be served on the terrace, just outside the old kitchen.
